This week’s news.


  • It has been a busy week for our Year R parents.
  • Parents and children have been bringing in their harvest gifts. There is still time to bring your contribution in.
  • The children put on their best smiles for the photographer on Monday. The photographs would make lovely Christmas presents.
  • Year R parents attended an open morning. Staff talked about the Foundation Stage curriculum and then parents spent some time working with their children.
  • A group of year 2 children attended Inspire sports village for an Invasion Games event. They did really well and thoroughly enjoyed their time there.
  • Some year R parents came to the family room to learn more about our Family and Adult learning programmes.
  • Year R parents came along to an afternoon tea on Friday. It was a lovely time to sit and chat and make new friends.



Next Week.

  • Our Harvest Festival on Monday will encourage children to think about sharing what we have to help others.
  • Mandy and Zoe are running a ‘Hot Chocolate’ coffee morning on Tuesday. All welcome, just turn up!
  • At 2.45pm on Tuesday the family room are holding a nearly new uniform sale. All items are very reasonably priced.
  • The PTA is meeting on Thursday morning to plan our Friday Festive Fun. Anyone who can offer a raffle prize or can help in any way please let us know.
  • Mandy and Zoe are running a Family Craft evening on Thursday from 3.15-4.30. This is now fully booked up.
  • Friday is a non-uniform day for the children at the cost of £1 that will go to our PTA fund.
  • On Friday we are celebrating Apple Day. This is a traditional celebration of the English apple. The children will be tasting different English apples and enjoying many apple activities. We would be very grateful for any contributions of apples- English only please!
  • We are breaking up for half term. Have a lovely break - Why not go for an autumn walk and join in our Autumn Search Challenge.

If you have any questions or worries about supporting your child in their homework, please speak to the class teacher. Please make sure all clothes, PE kit, coat, hat, shoes etc. are labelled with child’s name! Please can I ask parents to walk their children to school if possible.If you are driving, please do not park across resident’s driveways or on the pavement as this puts the children in danger!
