We didn’t have our usual celebration assembly this week as the staff and children got together to say goodbye to me. It was a very moving occasion. Mrs Reynolds presented a power point of photos telling the story of my time here. All the children helped to make cards for me. It was very emotional.

This week’s news.

  • Mandy and Zoe ran a very busy and successful play zone on Saturday.
  • Miss Hall led a Sports and PE assembly on Monday.
  • The staff from year 3 in Wenlock have met our year 2 staff to put together a timetable of transition events in the summer term. You will receive details later.
  • The choir sang a repertoire of songs to the whole school on Tuesday morning and then to their parents in the afternoon. They sounded wonderful. Thank you Miss Goose for running the choir during your lunch break.
  • As mentioned earlier, the staff and children gave me a lovely surprise assembly on Wednesday morning.
  • My last day at Crawley Green was so wonderful. The surprise I got to find so many parents and children in the hall to say goodbye was incredible - how did you all creep in without me knowing? Not one child gave the game away! I had a lovely time afterwards with staff, past staff and governors.
  • Thank you for all the cards, gifts and good wishes. Best wishes to you all for the future.
  • Have a very happy Easter break.

First week back - beginning Monday 16th April

  • We welcome our new Headteacher, Miss O’Neill to Crawley Green.

  • The first week back is Sports week. Please send your children into school in their PE kit for the whole week as they will be doing many sporting activities during each day.
