Greenfinger’s Gardening Club March 25th 2017
We had a warm sunny day to clear the duckweed from the pond as well as some digging in the wildflower garden.
Charlie and Ava found 18 newts and such a lot of pond snails while they were carefully clearing the duckweed.
We couldn’t find any frogs in the pond so we looked in their favourite hiding places in the Conservation Area. Ava held one and it climbed onto her shoulder!
Thank you Charlie, Ava and Carl for your hard work in helping to look after our school grounds.
