BIG SCHOOL’S BIRDWATCH 2018
Some of Crawley Green’s pupils are citizen scientists by taking part in the Big School’s Birdwatch organised by the RSPB.
Children are watching, counting and recording how many of each different species they see on and around the bird feeders. The data collected will be sent to the RSPB and used to create a snapshot of how our garden birds are doing across the UK and to identify species that are in decline.
You too can take part in this activity with the 39th Big Garden Birdwatch which is the largest wildlife survey in the world.
Take an hour to watch the birds in your garden or local park from the 27-29th January.
