Our vision, aims and ethos
We believe that every child is of equal worth. Through partnerships with parents and carers, we aim to develop the whole child, by meeting their needs in a safe and caring environment and by celebrating diversity.
We believe that learning should be engaging, purposeful and challenging. We aim to develop and nurture confident, resilient, independent learners, who are proud of their efforts and achievements. In partnerships with families, we aim to inspire and provide children with high aspirations for their future. We aim to promote sustainability and an awareness of wider global issues through our curriculum and additional opportunities.
We believe that our whole school community should work together in partnership with our children, staff, governors, parents and with the wider community to provide a safe, clean and stimulating environment, which will lead to effective teaching, high standards and successful learning.

We teach our children what these values mean, as well as other core values including Fundamental British Values, and how we can live our lives accordingly. Our values based work is not limited to these listed values and our School Council are playing a key role in developing our values work across the school.
